White wine
about half as many in the vinegar
about 6 in the fruit jar
and about as many in the Corona beer that my husband decided he wanted to add to the experiment, as there was in the vinegar.
We did also add one of those sticky fly strips to right above the fruit, and that caught some excess. The fruit flies are gone, and fruit can now reside on my old stove once more. I will, from now on, keep some white wine in a jar on my fruit counter if there are any fresh goods to attract more fruit flies.
